The Chiricahua National Monument, located in the Southeastern corner of Arizona, is a stunning landscape with vibrant history and wonderful rock formations. We travel to the National Monument Visitor’s Center and then make our way up a winding mountain road to the 6,000-foot summit at Massai Point. We’ll enjoy the spectacular views in this wonderland of rocks while we eat our tasty box lunches. We have two short hikes planned to check out the amazing forest of rock spires. After descending from the mountains, we will include a tour of the historic Faraway Ranch House, before rounding out our day with delicious homemade pie and ice cream at Apple Annie’s in Willcox.
