We visit St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Monastery, established in the summer of 1995 and home to approximately 42 monks. After our morning we will head to downtown Florence for lunch at Mt. Athos Restaurant & Café and then we will visit the Pinal County Historical Museum before heading home. (Guests are asked to wear the following: women- long-sleeved, loose-fitting shirts that fully cover the chest up to the neck; long skirts (or dresses); scarves that cover the head and wrap under the chin and around the neck and please refrain from wearing lipstick. Men – long pants and long-sleeved shirts. No baseball caps or clothing with inappropriate words or images).
