Day 1 - Flight to Honolulu

We depart Tucson on our flight to Honolulu, Oahu, where we’ll lodge two nights. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel. This evening we are on our own.

Day 2 - Oahu and the Dole Pineapple Plantation

Today we explore the island of Oahu, its history and culture.  We begin with a tour on our deluxe motor coach. We enjoy a stop at the Dole Pineapple Plantation where we learn about pineapple cultivation and enjoy a tasting.  We continue to the Polynesian Cultural Center, where we will learn about the rich culture of the Hawaiian Islands and enjoy a luau and show. (B, D)

Day 3 - Cruise Embarkment

After breakfast, we will board our ship and begin our cruise. (B, D)

Day 4 - Maui and Lahaina

Our first stop is Maui. A surplus of natural splendor and the genuine hospitality of its people have helped to make Maui Hawaii’s second most popular island. Explore the fascinating history of the town of Lahaina. We overnight in port. (B, L, D)

Day 5 - Maui and Halekala

Another day to explore Maui, known also as “The Valley Isle,” the second largest Hawaiian island. The island is beloved for its world-famous beaches, the sacred Iao Valley, views of migrating humpback whales (during winter months), farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala(B, L, D)

Day 6 - Hilo, the Big Island, and Hawaii, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

We arrive at Hilo on the ‘Big Island’ early this morning. The entire city of Hilo is like one giant greenhouse with spectacular tropical flowers at every turn. We can visit the town’s well-preserved historic buildings, which date back to the turn of the century and showcase Hawaii’s unique architecture. Just 30 miles away the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the home of the active Kilauea Volcano. (B, L, D)

Day 7 - Kona

Kona offers the quintessential Hawaii experience. Sunny, warm weather and crystal blue waters entice us to partake in a variety of surfside fun. Shall we snorkel amongst a kaleidoscope of tropical marine life or take a surfing lesson, a kayaking trip or head out to deeper waters for some deep-sea fishing? (B, L, D)

Day 8 - Nawiliwili, Kauai

We arrive in Nawiliwili, Kauai this morning. Named after the Wiliwili trees, which once lined its picturesque harbor, this lovely port of Kauai is our gateway to what many believe to be Hawaii’s most beautiful island. On “The Garden Island,” nature is truly the star, from the dramatic mountains of Kokee to the cool rainforests of Haena.  We overnight in port. (B, L, D)

Day 9 - Napali Coast of Kauai

A morning in Kauai gives us more time to explore and enjoy the glorious blue ocean and green mountains. This afternoon we cruise along the spectacular Napali Coast of Kauai. (B, L, D)

Day 10 - Pearl Harbor and flight home to Tucson

We return to Oahu and leave our ship, but our Hawaii experience is not yet over. We visit the Pearl Harbor to see the USS Arizona Memorial and USS Battleship Missouri and enjoy a coach tour of the city of Honolulu. It’s time to head for home but we will never forget the beauty of Hawaii. (B)

Day 11 - Arrive in Tucson

After an overnight flight, we arrive back in Tucson with unforgettable memories of this tour.
