We travel Northwest via motorcoach, traveling through the beautiful town of Wickenburg, AZ, where we have a delicious lunch at the Wickenburg Ranch. After our arrival in Las Vegas, we check in to our four-night stay at Bally’s Hotel, on the Strip. Tonight, we enjoy a group welcome dinner.
This morning we’ll visit the Mob Museum, which offers an authentic view of organized crime from vintage Las Vegas to the back alleys of American cities and—increasingly—across the borders and networks of the entire world. Las Vegas is famous for its liberal use of neon and we also tour the Neon Museum, with over 200 iconic Las Vegas signs. After a group lunch we take a tour of the Ethel M Chocolate Factory in Henderson (and sample some goodies!) And to cap off this busy day, we will see Blue Man Group at the Luxor. Always a unique and memorable performance, Blue Man Group is a comic musical & artistic show featuring lots of audience interaction with the blue-painted cast.
The Nevada desert is indelibly tied to nuclear energy and warfare. Today we tour the National Atomic Testing Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution that documents the history of nuclear testing. After lunch we ride the High Roller Ferris Wheel, which soars 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas Strip and is the world’s tallest observation wheel. Free time this afternoon and evening to explore the Strip or see a show.
This morning we head to the Hoover Dam. A National Historic Landmark, Hoover Dam is the highest concrete dam in the Western Hemisphere, standing at more than 725 feet above the Colorado River. If you like, get out and walk from Nevada to Arizona after crossing the 1,900-foot-long bridge! We explore the Bellagio Hotel, where we enjoy their over-the-top buffet, before seeing Cirque de Soleil “O”. The show has a cast of 85 acrobats, synchronized swimmers and divers performing in and above a 1.5 million-gallon pool. Unlike any other show, it’s a stunning and remarkable performance.
Today we depart Las Vegas and head back to Tucson. Along the way we again have lunch in Wickenburg, at the Rancho de Los Caballeros. Upon arrival in Tucson, you will be delivered home by our livery service.

Services of a professional tour director
We pride ourselves on great service and an enjoyable experience for all and will go over our booking policies after you make your request for booking. If you’d like to learn more about our booking policies before your trip, give us a call at (520) 325-8839, or visit our Booking Policies page by clicking the link below.
For your reference, we send to you a detailed itinerary approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the scheduled tour departure. This has day-by-day times and events, hotel information where you can be reached in case of an emergency, and airline information.
The times listed on the itinerary are all approximate. We cannot be held responsible for schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances with the weather, transportation agents, highway conditions, hotels or contracting agents.
It is always a good idea to carry on your person a list of medications that you are taking and an emergency contact phone number while you are traveling. And we suggest making a copy of the itinerary and provide it to a friend or family member.
GRATUITIES/ITEMS INCLUDED IN PRICE
The traditional end-of-tour gratuity to your tour director is not included. If you feel your Tour Director helped you enjoy your tour, we suggest you enclose a gratuity in an envelope and present it individually at the end of the tour. Simply as a guideline, one may consider a per person, per day gratuity of $8.00 per tour guide as an average to be modified by one’s own personal experience. All hotel porterage and airport skycap (when available) fees are included. We also include the gratuities for the coach/livery drivers. Maid tips are not included.
For your convenience, we have a (round-tour) door-to-door pickup service with each multi-day tour. (This service is not available to all clients depending on your location.) Approximately 2 to 3 days prior to the departure date you will receive a call from our office and we will tell you your assigned pickup time. (These times can vary up to 15 minutes depending on traffic.)
If you would like to request special accommodations at the hotel(s) where we are lodging, please call us as soon as possible and we will forward these requests for you. The phone numbers of the hotel(s) where we are staying are listed on the itinerary.
Many hotels around the country have instituted a "reconditioning fee" of $300 or more that is levied upon a guest that smokes in a non-smoking room. If this occurs during our tour you will be responsible for paying this fee to the hotel prior to check-out.
We pay close attention to your requests but please realize that these are merely requests and cannot be guaranteed.
